The Nubians decide it's time to get in on the action!

We had nine due this week. Three Alpines, two Nubians and four LaManchas. All three Alpines have kidded and as of Friday morning, three LM has as well. The Nubians decided to get down to business yesterday. Mid-day, as Tim and I and the oldest two girls were out at farmer's markets, Dawn kidded. The Grand Dame of the milkers, Dawn has looked for teh past month like she had two barrels in her, end to end. In that incredible girth she was hiding two bucklings. She usually has triplets! And we have now owned her for almost three years without a single daughter to show for it.

As we were turning off the lights for the night, Maria kidded, a single sweet doeling.

Now we just wait on Dorie the ditsy LaMancha. And as I type this Grace and Sara came in to inform me that they think she may be pushing, they were going to check.

It would be so nice to have this round of kidding over and done with!
