Seth-isms

I just told one of his older sisters to run and grab Grace for me. He was very concerned. "no, you don't grab Grace" (making a grasping motion with his hand) "you go and get her!'

He is currently in the typical three year old stage of eschewing clothing. (Typical, at least, for our place!) Noah (7) called him a nudist. "I am NOT a nudist, you are just a meanie!" I called him over to tell him that a nudist was simply someone who did not wear clothes. "A nudist is not naked, a nudist is a monster!" I reiterated that no, a nudist simply referred to clothing preferences and he insisted that no, "Nude is a big cage...for monsters! Micky Mouse was in a nude cage before..." (I think I have heard of movies like that...)

When laying down for a nap this afternoon he told Grace that he got to say "Goodnight and I love you" first because his "legs are shorter!"

And earlier today, Noah proclaimed "I want a baby brother!" Judah (5) chimed in "I want a brother and a sister!" Seth declared "I want a lollipop!" (as long as mom is taking requests, right?)

too much fun! so who did you vote with? i am thinking at this moment in time you went with the lollipop. good choice because if the baby factor should follow you have one handy for the LaMaze classes.

Actually they make lollipops now that are aimed at reducing morning sickness! I cannot imagine it though because when I am feeling green I cannot stand anything in my mouth...as for voting...I do not have a preference except that I like the boy name that we have been waiting to use but there is plenty of time to come up with a girl name that I will like just as much.

Done deal. Tim wants me to blog about it, I am a little uneasy as we already take fire for the number of children that we have but then who cares, I might as well enjoy what will likely be the last one...due early July, best I can figure. Names? No clue for a girl name, though we have a boy name that we like although there is a lot of time to waver regarding it as well.

Hey dont worry yourself with other peoples comments. We have only 8 (boys) and we caught the flack too. But, I have to ask myself, which ones would I want to live without? Nos. 7&8, or 4-8? Hmmm. Ill keep them all and wish for more. God bless, M.E.

Dont let those obnoxious comments get to you. This is YOUR family they are fussing about. We had comments too, because we have 8 boys. But I have to ask myself, which ones would I want to live without? Nos. 7&8? 4-8? Only 1&2? I am grateful for all 8 and wpnt ,mind a few more, (kinda late now. It would almost be the Abraham and Sarah story). Anyway God bless! M.E.
